The LaRiviere Living and Learning Center consists of student housing on two wings and a central 'core' unit, which includes a variety of furnished meeting spaces for academic classes, activities, and programs. Each wing accommodates 24 residents per floor assigned to four suites, each with six occupants. The double occupancy bedrooms in each suite have free-standing furniture that includes a twin extra long bed, desk, desk chair, and storage space. The living room (shared space) in each suite is provided with upholstered furniture, a table and chairs, built in cabinets and counter space, as well as one full-size refrigerator and microwave. Each bedroom also has a microwave-refrigerator unit. The community living space, shared by all floor residents, includes recreational equipment, upholstered furniture and a furnished study lounge, as well as a microwave, sink and countertop/storage cabinets. Each floor also has a laundry room with washers and dryers.
