This residence facility provides lodging for approximately 300 first year and sophomore students (37 per wing on each floor) in double occupancy rooms. Private style bathrooms are situated throughout each corridor, as well as a kitchenette and laundry equipment. The building has several study lounges for individual and small group use. The central 'core' community center on each floor has multi-purpose space with recreational equipment. The design of this building allows for greater flexibility in the asignment process. Co-ed living involves men and women assigned to the same floor in single sex rooms. Each room is carpeted, with free standing furniture that includes a twin extra long bed, desk, desk chair, bookshelf and storage space as well as one microwave-refrigerator unit.
Shades are provided for the windows.
Commonwealth Hall is supervised by Kymberley Wood, Resident Director. Her office is located off the main lobby of Commonwealth Hall.
