Your "Home" at Western New England College
First year students are assigned to one of five residence halls: Berkshire, Franklin or Hampden (in an area known as the Quad), Windham Hall, and Commonwealth Hall. The Quad halls and Windham are traditional in design and provide living areas that are either single sex or co-ed, with separate floors for men and women, due to common/shared bathrooms on the corridors. Commonwealth Hall accommodates both first-year and returning sophomores in corridor style living with private bathrooms. Returning students who are sophomores are also assigned to the LaRiviere Center, Plymouth Complex, and Gateway Village. Upper-class students reside in the Gateway Village apartments or the Evergreen Village townhouse complex. Transfer students are assigned based on best 'fit' criteria which includes their age, overall college experience and academic standing.
