The proposed Western New England College School of Pharmacy will be inviting applications and nominations for faculty positions in both the Department of Pharmaceutical and Administrative Sciences and the Department of Pharmacy Practice. Each position will offer an exciting opportunity to build an integrated and innovative student-centered academic program.

Department of Pharmaceutical and Administrative Sciences
Assistant/Associate/Professor of Pharmacology: The proposed School of Pharmacy seeks two full-time, tenure-track positions of pharmacology. Areas of expertise may include but are not limited to immunology, toxicology, genomics/pharmacogenomics, or pathophysiology.
Assistant/Associate/Professor of Medicinal Chemistry: The proposed School of Pharmacy seeks a full-time, tenure-track position of medicinal chemistry. Areas of expertise may include but are not limited to computer- assisted drug design, QSAR, biochemistry, pharmacognosy, or drug metabolism.
Assistant/Associate/Professor of Pharmaceutics: The proposed School of Pharmacy seeks a full-time, tenure-track position of pharmaceutics. Areas of expertise may include but are not limited to biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, bioengineering, or biomedical engineering.
Assistant/Associate/Professor of Pharmacy Administration: The proposed School of Pharmacy seeks a full-time, tenure-track position of pharmacy administration. Areas of expertise may include but are not limited to health outcomes, health care policy, pharmacoepidemiology, health economics, strategic and financial planning, or human resource management.

Assistant/Associate/Professor of Ambulatory Care: The proposed School of Pharmacy seeks a full-time, tenure and non-tenured position of ambulatory care.
Assistant/Associate/Professor of Community Care: The proposed School of Pharmacy seeks a full-time, tenure and non-tenured position of community care.
Assistant/Associate/Professor of Informatics/Drug Information: The proposed School of Pharmacy seeks a full-time, tenure and non-tenured position of informatics/drug information
The hiring of faculty for the 2010-11 academic year represents the first wave of hiring for the proposed School of Pharmacy. More faculty will be added for the following academic years within both departments.
