Coming Soon - School of Pharmacy

Pharmacist

Renowned for personal attention, small class sizes, expansive internship opportunities, and faculty dedicated to student success, Western New England College attracts motivated students eager to make a difference in their communities.

Recognizing the growing demand for pharmacists in the U.S., the College will introduce a Pre-pharmacy program in 2009 with the professional program starting in 2011, pending receipt of various required approvals. The six-year program (two years of Pre-pharmacy study at the School of Arts and Sciences and four years in the Professional program at the new School of Pharmacy) will give students both a strong pre-pharmacy base in math and science as well as prepare them for careers in pharmacy with a doctoral degree (Pharm.D.).

The School of Pharmacy will also acquire new faculty and administrators, and add a new academic building that will provide additional space for the Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Psychology Departments. To accommodate the growing number of students living on campus, a new residence complex will also be built.
