Western New England College School of Law recently hosted six visitors from Ukraine visiting the U.S. as part of the Library of Congress' Open World Program. The School of Law's faculty and staff provided the visitors with an overview of the state and federal legal systems and a look at American legal education, including Western New England College School of Law's emphasis on public service and professional responsibility. The Ukranians' visit was arranged by Simon Brighenti L'87 through the School of Law's Insitute for Legislative and Governmental Affairs.
Western New England College is a private, independent, coeducational institution founded in 1919. Located on an attractive 215-acre suburban campus in Springfield, Massachusetts, the College serves 3,700 students, including 2,500 full-time undergraduate students. Undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs are offered through the College's Schools of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, and Law.
