Posted October 29, 2009
Western New England College has formed a partnership with WAMC-Northeast Public Radio as the office of the Pioneer Valley news bureau is now located on campus in Rivers Memorial Hall. Having the station broadcast from campus allows students the opportunity to gain real experience in numerous fields including news journalism, sales, engineering, and many more.

(L to R) Pioneer Valley news reporter Paul Tuthill, College President Anthony S. Caprio, CEO and President of WAMC Alan Chartock, and News Director Katie Britton.
On October 21, the College formally welcomed WAMC, inviting CEO, President, and nationally syndicated talk show host Alan Chartock, News Director Katie Britton, and Pioneer Valley news reporter Paul Tuthill to meet with members of the campus community.
