Western New England College Travels to Asia

Western New England College recently took part in an international recruitment effort as Michelle Kowalsky, assistant director and coordinator of Transfer and International Admissions, traveled to Northeast Asia from September 19 through September 29. Kowalsky's visit, which began in Hong Kong and continued to Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, and Taipei, allowed her to speak to a large number of international graduate and undergraduate students. After the trip, Kowalsky commented that she "felt that the students were very receptive to the College."
During her visit, she was interviewed by the largest study abroad organization in China and had the opportunity to attended various University fairs and visit with numberous international schools. She traveled abroad with a group of approximately 30 institutions located throughout the U.S.
Western New England College is a private, independent, coeducational institution founded in 1919. Located on an attractive 215-acre suburban campus in Springfield, Massachusetts, the College serves 3,700 students, including 2,500 full-time undergraduate students. Undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs are offered through the College's Schools of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, and Law.
