Commencement 2009

Western New England College awarded over 650 bachelors degrees to graduating seniors during Commencement which took place in the Alumni Healthful Living Center on May 16.

During the ceremony, L. Vincent Strully Jr., founder and chief executive officer of The New England Center for Children (NECC), delivered the Commencement Address and received an Honorary Degree. Additionally, the College honored three members of the management team of Wilbraham-based FloDesign, Inc. Chief Executive Officer Stanley Kowalski III, Chief Technology Officer Walter Presz, and Chief Financial Officer Stanley Kowalski Jr. received a President's Citation recognizing their work in developing the next generation of renewable energy technology.
