Historical Society Travels to New York

The Western New England College Historical Society took its 5th annual spring trip from April 3 through April 5. Associate Professor of History Jonathan Beagle, along with seven students, traveled to New York's Hudson River Valley to learn about presidential history. While in New York, students went on "The Valley of Presidents" tour which took them to the Martin Van Buren National Historic Site, the Franklin D. Roosevelt Home and Presidential Library, the U. S. Military Academy at West Point, and Washington's Headquarters.
Western New England College is a private, independent, coeducational institution founded in 1919. Located on an attractive 215-acre suburban campus in Springfield, Massachusetts, the College serves 3,700 students, including 2,500 full-time undergraduate students. Undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs are offered through the College's Schools of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, and Law.
