March 1 was Western New England College Night at the MassMutual Center. Alumni, faculty, staff, students, and their families were invited to see the Springfield Falcons take on the Portland Pirates.

picture_falcons.jpgBefore the game, there was a free skate session with the Golden Bear followed by a reception in the MassMutual Center's Club Lounge. President Anthony S. Caprio dropped the first puck of the game and both the College Choral Program and the ROTC Color Guard were showcased. In addition, the hockey team tossed Golden Bear memorabilia to the audience in between periods.
