Congratulations on joining Western New England College’s First Employee Biggest Loser Team contest! We certainly hope to make the competition fun. We all know that weight loss alone can be a challenge. In addition to having a partner to motivate you, we hope to be supportive as well. *Drink water, not soda. A 20-ounce cola contains 250 calories and a 32-ounce fast food version contains 400 calories! Water on the other hand has 0 calories. It also makes you feel full.
*Replace your muffin with oatmeal. The average muffin contains 340-630 calories and is high in sugar and fats. Muffins actually may contain as many calories as donuts (unless they are frosted or filled). A bowl of oatmeal contains only 150-250 calories. Oatmeal keeps your hunger at bay longer as well.
