Saturday, May 2 in Rivers Memorial Hall
Western New England College offers a special tradition for graduates of its master's programs.
This celebration will be held on the afternoon of Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., in Rivers Memorial Hall. The conferral of degrees will highlight the Master's Degrees Celebration. Academic deans will present diplomas and traditional degree hoods to all eligible candidates. In addition, Faculty Choice Awards will be presented to selected graduates in various programs. Refreshments will be provided during a social hour after the ceremony. Since this is a celebration, dress will be proper business attire rather than caps and gowns.
We look forward to having all October 2008, and February and May 2009 graduates join us for the event. In addition, candidates who will be within six credits of degree completion after the end of the winter term must send a letter of request to the dean of their school by March 27, 2009, if they would like to participate in the May 2 celebration.
In order to receive invitations and tickets for the May 2 event, all Master's Degree graduates who plan to attend must return the reply card that will be sent to them in late winter.
