Scheduling A Campus Visit
The campus visit is one of the most important aspects of the college selection process. What better way to find out whether or not Western New England College feels right for you? For this reason we want to make it easy for students to have an opportunity to visit our campus. We encourage students and their families to attend an Open House since it provides the most comprehensive information. Individual appointments are available Monday-Friday, and selected Saturdays throughout the academic year.
Customize your individual visit to meet your needs. You can:
- tour the campus;
- interview with an admissions counselor;
- talk with a professor;*
- observe a class (accepted students only);*
- talk to Western New England College students; and
- meet with a coach.*
*Please call ahead of time to arrange these meetings.
Whenever possible, Western New England College provides an individual tour for each student. Therefore, we do not have prearranged times for tour departures. However, we do highly recommend calling the Office of Admissions to schedule an appointment for a campus tour and interview. Tours are scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each weekday. During the academic year, Saturday tours are provided between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. There are no Saturday tours in the summer. To schedule an appointment, contact 1-800-325-1122, ext. 1321, or 413-782-1321, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Be sure to let us know what you would like to accomplish with your time spent on campus and come prepared to learn about what makes Western New England College a special place.
Accepted Student Day Visit Program
The Admissions Office coordinates a visitation program for accepted students during select dates in February and April. Students have the opportunity to spend a day on campus shadowing a student while attending classes, meeting with faculty and coaches, eating in the dining hall, etc. Interested students should contact the Admissions Office. The Admissions Office does not currently have an overnight program. (Note: The Athletic Department also coordinates visitation programs for athletes.)
Summer Visitation
Through our Summer Visitation Program, students (accompanied by their parents) between their junior and senior year of high school, guidance counselors, and independent counselors can stay in our Evergreen Townhouse complex for one or two nights. The 2009 Summer Visitation Program will be offered from June 15th - July 24th, 2009. Please call our Admissions Office at 1-800-325-1122 or 413-782-1321 to make your reservations.
